Karolyn Drisdale Williams is a native Houstonian, who began reading and spelling circa the age of 4.  She is the 3rd of four children and only girl born to HISD educators, who instilled the values of hard work, scholastic achievement and giving back.  She was educated in the Houston Independent School District and earned two degrees from Sam Houston State University, where she is a Life Member of the Alumni Association as well as a member of the Board of Directors.  Karolyn is also a Charter member of The Black Alumni and Friends Club.  A pioneer and trailblazer in her own right, she has the distinction of being the first African-American and African-American woman to lead the Criminal Court Support Division of the Harris County District Clerk’s Office (2003).  Additionally she was the first African-American and African-American woman Regional Collections Specialist for the Texas State Office of Court Administration’s Collections Improvement Program. (2005).  Karolyn turned her nearly 15 years’ experience of serving clients in both the government and private sector into a company of her own transporting goods along some of the same routes that she has traveled, while servicing clients and monitoring compliance with State law.  Highly regarded by her peers as a consummate professional, her career path and travels have aligned with Proverbs 18:16, which states A person's gift makes room for him, and leads him before important people.  These combined life and professional experiences, along with her intrinsic values have catapulted her to launch this business in a male driven industry, with great expectation and anticipation.  She strives to honor her parents and the Drisdale heritage by developing, maintaining and sustaining the family legacy’s footprint wherever she goes.  This business, her real estate holdings and the recent creation of a memorial scholarship fund are evidence of this commitment. Karolyn is best described as ambitious, a lifelong learner, trustworthy, well balanced and a servant leader, but cherishes the role of Wife, Mother and Lovie, the most.
